How to Photograph the Damage

Please upload several clear photographs from different distances and angles:

1. Take one wide photograph showing the entire damaged vehicle panel.

2. Take one medium-distance photograph showing where the dent is located.

3. Take one close photograph at an angle so the dent’s depth and shape are visible.

4. Include a second angle if the dent crosses a body line or panel edge.

5. For hail damage, include photographs of each affected panel and at least one photograph showing the entire vehicle.

For the best results, photograph the vehicle in daylight or a brightly lit area. Reflections across the panel can help make the shape of the dent visible.

4. Arrange shop or mobile service based on the repair, your location and service availability.

A photograph-based estimate is an initial assessment. The final repair price may change if an in-person inspection reveals additional damage, limited panel access, stretched metal, prior repairs or damaged paint.

Hail Damage and Insurance Claims

If your vehicle has sustained hail damage, indicate on the form whether you have already opened an insurance claim. Artisan Dent Repair handles insurance-related hail repairs and can help you understand the information needed for the repair process.

Customers may bring their vehicles to our shop and mobile service is also available throughout an approximately 60-mile service area. Artisan Dent Repair is based in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. Mobile service is available throughout an approximately 60-mile service area, availability may depend on the customer’s location, weather conditions, the type of damage and access to the damaged vehicle panel.

Shop visits are available by appointment only. Because the shop is located at a private address, location details will be provided directly to confirmed customers when an appointment is scheduled.
